The Headless Horseman at Conner Prairie has become a Halloween tradition for our family. It's super cute, family friendly, and fun! This year we actually changed our membership and went 3x!

It's $17 (Thurs/Sun) or $21 (Fri/Sat) and includes the festival full of games, plays, and other activities like the new corn maze. And it's included with most memberships! We walked the festival area and tried out the pumpkin bowling, strongman rings the bell, digging in the corn, mini golf and karaoke!

Then of course we had to take advantage of some photo ops before HEADing off to find the horseman... hahahha

The wait was different every time... Each time a bit scarier than the last. This year was the first year the line wove around in the Indian Village and included a bit more of a theatrical element. The man who sings the Legend of Sleepy Hollow was great and had the creepiest laugh which was perfect for the setting.

Some encountered Zombies while waiting...
Ella shows off her zombie walk - which if I had to say so, it's pretty good.

Did you survive?! We did... but barely ;)

Then it was off to the corn maze... also included! There was a short and long version... we went to the short 3x and only completed the "mission" once. But this guy was there to greet us...

All in all it's a great time! I'm telling you we went 3x this year and still didn't hit everything! There's just so much to fill the night that it's totally worth it!
We can't wait to get back to the open grounds at Conner Prairie in the spring, but this was a great way to finish up the park's outdoor season!
