If you are an old follower or friend, you know how much we love Halloween at our house. So much that we usually start thinking about the following year November 1st. We've already planned what we are doing next year and I can't wait!

But it's just fun for us for some reason. It's really a family project and we are lucky that our girls don't scare easily and our 5 year old asks for more scary things daily!

This year we really just added to our last years display which included...

Boarded Windows

Witches

Skeletons

Cemetery

Somehow we carved six pumpkins and they add a little color to the porch. We did do a new porch design with this skeleton and a bird skeleton in the plant above which get a dull light at night with our floating candles...

The boarded windows are a fun project my husband made last year. Next year I'll have to share the DIY early enough because they really aren't hard to make and add a great effect to the house. The tricky part is hanging them...

Sometimes I think I like our house like this best! Hahah.

My husband's favorite part is the technical aspect.  In the past we've had a monster box and dropping spiders to scare the poo out of you!  This year we don't have that, but I think our house is scary enough. We have a crazy dancing witch and this ghost bride who is pretty freaky if you just watch her.

The witches return to the yard making their special brew.  The cauldron was also made my my husband, also easy. I wish they sang "Come little children..." but maybe next year!  We did add a wizard at the request of our 5 year old and he's definitely interesting.  I love the shadows on the house too!

You can kind of see the witch here in the cemetery but I'm hoping to get a better picture tonight for part two!

All in all I'm pretty happy with how our house turned out!  Now, if the wind would just die down so I can keep everything in place at least for tonight that would be amazing!

And off to grab candy and prep the girls costumes for the frozen evening!  Coldest Halloween in over 20 years - G R E A T!

Happy Halloween All!
